Screen Fraser Coast has announced its June Film Industry Networking Night, offering a dedicated platform for local film professionals and creatives to connect. The event will take place on Friday, 19 June 2026, at the Aquavue Beachfront Bar & Eatery in Torquay.
“As Co-Chair of Screen Fraser Coast, I’m proud to see events like the June Film Industry Networking Night create meaningful opportunities for local creatives to connect, share ideas and build the relationships that help strengthen our screen community across the Fraser Coast,” said Amy Friesen.
This networking event provides a casual opportunity for those working in or aspiring to join the film industry to build valuable relationships. By bringing together diverse talents from across the region, Screen Fraser Coast aims to foster collaboration and support the ongoing growth of the local screen sector.
“One of the greatest strengths of our region is the passion and talent of the people working across film, television and digital media,” said Sam Gould, Co-Chair of Screen Fraser Coast. “This networking night is about creating pathways, opening doors and encouraging the collaborations that can turn creative ideas into real projects and career opportunities.”
The evening will run from 5:30pm to 7:30pm AEST. Attendees can expect a relaxed atmosphere designed to encourage industry dialogue and idea sharing. Guest speakers Sammy Cobar and Kyle Davis will join the evening, bringing additional industry insight to the evening.
Entry to the June Film Industry Networking Night is free for all current Screen Fraser Coast members. For non-members, tickets are available for $15.00. While the event provides the venue and networking opportunities, attendees will need to purchase their own beverages on the night.
All attendees must book their tickets in advance to secure entry. Those interested in attending can reserve their place through the official event booking page.
